What the quote must include
- Toughened safety glass with polished edges (UNE-EN 12150).
- Top and bottom tracks in anodised or lacquered aluminium.
- Hardware, rollers and a key lock.
- Survey, made-to-measure manufacture, fitting and sealing.
- VAT and a written guarantee (10 years on glass and hardware).
Beware the teaser price
A square metre advertised at €99 usually excludes fitting, sealing, VAT or the 10 mm glass required at height. Always ask for a turnkey fixed price and compare like with like.

Do glass curtains insulate from cold?+
They create a gallery that stops wind and rain and softens the temperature, but they do not insulate like an enclosure with insulated glass. For a heated room, combine them with PVC or thermal-break aluminium sliding.
How long do they last?+
Quality toughened glass and hardware exceed 20-30 years with minimal care: cleaning plus a drop of lubricant on the rollers once a year.
Can they go on a windy penthouse?+
Yes, with 10 mm glass and reinforced hardware. In very exposed spots we validate the maximum height with a wind-load calculation.
