Do pergolas withstand Costa Blanca winds?+

Yes. The bioclimatic pergolas we install are certified for winds up to 130 km/h (class 6 under UNE-EN 13561). For very exposed spots (Calpe, Jávea, La Manga) we reinforce the structure.

Do I need a licence to install a pergola in my garden?+

Usually yes — a prior notification or minor-works licence depending on the municipality (Alicante, Elche and Benidorm have different bylaws). In owners' associations you also need board approval. We handle the paperwork.

Do the louvres let rain through?+

Not when closed. The louvres overlap and have channels that drain water to the posts (integrated drainage). The closed system is 100% watertight, rain-tested.

Can the pergola be closed at the sides?+

Yes. We combine the pergola above with frameless glass curtains, aluminium sliding glass or vertical screen blinds — a complete solution to use the pergola all year.

What warranty do pergolas have?+

10 years on structure and motors, 2 years on installation labour. Annual maintenance recommended (cleaning, lubrication, motor check).
